Description
Ideal for engineering & in metal work for striking punches & chisels. Regular steel hammers have the potential to chip, leading to the danger of projectiles being propelled at high speeds and causing potential injuries. Eclipse Normalised hammer heads are crafted through forging & normalization processes, resulting in a softer face that tends to mushroom rather than chip. With a hardness level between 20 – 30 HRC, these specialized hammer heads are well-suited for applications where minimizing the risk of chipping is essential. Identification of an Eclipse Normalised Hammer is facilitated by the ‘SOFT’ stamp on the head, and the heads are distinguishably painted in a light blue. Features Drop forged steel head, Annealed/Normalised to 20-30HRC Softer/Normalised heads reduce chipping or splitting Batch testing certificate available on request Head mechanically pinned to head Ergonomic anti-shock handle with TPR grips Tether loop in handle Handle length 320mm ** Picture for illustration purposes only **
