To prepare salads, simply attach the spindle and suction to the basket, add your ingredients, and rinse under running water. Then secure the colander to the sink's base using the suction cup and pump the spindle up and down to spin the basket and remove excess water. For traditional colander use, detach the spindle and suction cup and hold the unit by the side handles. After use, the spindle and suction cup can be reassembled and stored neatly, maximising kitchen space.
